LITTLE CHILDREN
Little children have no voice
You can abuse them for they have no choice
Belittle them
Slap them
Put them down
Who can they run to when they have no crown
Why believe them when they’re always telling stories
Adults have no time to listen to their gories
Disregard little Johnny’s frown
He’s always pretending to be down
Pretty Suzzie full of grace
If you looked closer you’d see that’s a made up face
Made to hide the pain she carriers
From all of the lashes her body tallies
How can you expect them to rejoice
When little children have no voice
